Where do we use/interact with media?
We, as individuals, use media in our everyday life. Going to school in the morning, we see advertisements in the streets, on the back of buses and on car windows too. During the school day, we interact with media through using computers, reading books, watching powerpoints, painting canvases, and looking at informational posters around the school. We also use and interact with media at home when we read the newspaper, watch TV, listen to the radio, and serf the internet. without realizing it, we are surrounded by media. the houses we live in were built with architectural designs and that is media. the clothes we wear were advertised by enterpreneurs through posters, flyers and even text messages. Media is even used to make the packages we get our food in. Cereal boxes are designed by media and then used to attract consumers to buy that cereal.

There are many different forms of media. In the group knows as print media, the forms include: newspapers, books, magazines, pamphlet, comic strips, and brochures. Web media include networks, informational websites, databases, and websites of organizations. News media includes forms of News broadcasts throughout the TV or radio, newspapers, and pamphlets. broadcasts are sent through video and audio signals. the news media's jobs is to inform citizens of current events. social media is the use of web-based and mobile technologies to turn communication into interactive dialogue. cellphones, ipods, computers have programs like Blackberry messenger, MSN messenger, facebook, twitter, and tumblr that are forms of social media. advertising media is the group of media that is made to make consumers purchase certain services or goods. The forms could be posters, flyers, and pictures.
What tools are used in creating and sharing media?
The tools range anywhere from paintbrushes to computers. Paint, glue, paper, pencils, crayons, and charcoal are examples of tools artists use. Computer engineers use programs, softwares, and websites. tools can even by cameras, hard drives, keyboards, and headphones. Anything used to express and idea into an audience becomes a tool of media. Since there is no exact definition of media, anything can be used to create media. Media is all about creativity and the creation of media is where the creativity starts.
